Swift Solar joined Qcells, First Solar, and other leading solar manufacturers in a new antidumping/countervailing duty (AD/CVD) petition filed with the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. International Trade Commission on April 24th by the American Alliance for Solar Manufacturing Trade Committee. This case aims to address unfair trade practices and dumping of subsidized solar products into the U.S. market, which threatens current and future domestic solar manufacturing.
