On October 6, the California Energy Commission (CEC) announced new funding awards under its “BRIDGE 2020: Bringing Rapid Innovation Development to Green Energy” program. Swift Solar was selected for a $2.995M award to develop high-efficiency perovskite solar cells for powering electric vehicles.
The CEC BRIDGE program supports applied research and technology demonstration and deployment for the most promising energy technologies that have previously received an award from the CEC or a US federal agency.
